LittleTale is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the LittleTale mobile app.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
• Character photos: Photos you upload to create story characters. Used only to generate illustrated artwork for your stories.
• Story content: Titles, synopses, and story text you create in the app.
• Usage data: App interactions and crash reports to help us improve the service.
• Purchase information: Subscription and credit purchase history, processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not store payment card details.
• Device information: Device type, OS version, and push notification token (if you enable notifications).

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and personalise the LittleTale service
• Generate AI-illustrated stories and character artwork from your inputs
• Process subscription payments and manage your account credits
• Send push notifications about story generation (only if you opt in)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Improve our AI models and app features using anonymised, aggregated data

3. AI Image Generation

When you upload a character photo or request story illustrations, your images and text are sent to third-party AI providers (including Google Gemini) for processing. Character photos are used solely to generate illustrated artwork for your stories and are not shared with other users.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Service providers necessary to operate the app (cloud hosting, image storage, AI generation, payment processing).
• RevenueCat for subscription management. See their Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect user safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and stories for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Anonymised usage statistics may be retained after deletion.

6. Children's Privacy

LittleTale is designed for use by parents and guardians with children. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13. Parents or guardians create and control the account and all content.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS, secure credential storage, and access controls. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
