Pebble Pond in one paragraph
Tap the water and a pebble drops in. Every duckling right next to the splash glides straight away from it,
and keeps gliding until something stops it: a rock, the bank, another duckling, or her own family's nest. Bring every duckling
home before your pebbles run out. You never touch a duck: you only choose where to splash.
Common questions
- How do I push a duckling where I want?
- Splash on the side opposite to where she should go. A splash behind her sends her forward; a splash at a corner sends her diagonally.
Every duckling in the eight cells around the splash moves at once.
- Can I see what a pebble will do before I drop it?
- Yes. Press and hold on the water (or slide your finger across it): a ring shows where the pebble lands and dotted trails show
where each duckling would glide. Lift to drop, or slide off the pond to cancel.
- Why did my duckling glide past a nest?
- A duckling stops only at a nest of her own family: the nest with her mother's colour and mark (dots, stripe, heart or star).
She glides straight over other families' nests.
- What happens when I run out of pebbles?
- You can start the pond again for free, as often as you like. Once per try you can also watch a short video to rewind a few throws
and get three more pebbles.
- What does Undo do?
- It takes back your last pebble's splash, but the pebble stays spent. Stars count every pebble you threw.
- How do stars work?
- Three stars for bringing everyone home in the fewest pebbles possible, two for one more, one for any finish.
- What is Today's Pond?
- One new pond every day, the same for everyone, from level 6 onwards. Try as often as you like; your attempts are counted, and
you can share your result without giving the answer away. Solving it every day grows your streak, and one missed day a week is
forgiven automatically.
- What is my flock?
- Every pond you finish hatches a duckling with her own name, and she joins your flock.
- Where is my progress saved?
- On your device only. There is no account. Deleting the app deletes your progress.
- Can I play offline?
- Yes, everything. Only the optional videos need a connection; without one, the help is given for free.
