and a person will answer. Tell us your device and iOS version and we can usually work out what
happened. There is no account to look up, so nothing about you is on file — the more you can
describe, the better.
Inkline in one paragraph
Drag from one coloured dot to its twin to lay a line of ink. Lines cannot cross, and every square
on the sheet must be filled. There are 200 puzzles, a fresh daily sheet, no timer, no move limit and
no way to lose. It plays entirely offline and has no purchases of any kind.
Common questions
- I can't hear anything.
- On an iPhone, check the ring/silent switch on the side of the phone — Inkline stays quiet when
your phone is silenced, like most games. Then check Settings → Sound inside the game
(the ••• button on the title screen).
- Where did my progress go?
- Progress is stored on your device only, because there is no account and nothing is uploaded.
Deleting the app deletes it, and it does not move to a new device.
- Are there ads?
- One kind: a full-screen ad after every fourth sheet you finish, never while you are solving
one. There is nothing to buy.
- How do I change personalised ads?
- Open Settings in the game and tap Personalised ads; it shows what iOS
currently allows and opens iOS Settings so you can change it. On iOS this can only be changed in
Settings once you have answered the first prompt.
- How do I start the book again?
- Settings → Start the book again. It clears every level you have finished on this
device and cannot be undone.
- A puzzle looks impossible.
- Every sheet is checked before it ships and has exactly one solution, so there is always a way
through — but if you believe one is wrong, email us the level number and we will look at it.
