Inkline does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no email address, no name, no chat and no user-generated content. Your progress is stored only on your own device.
Your campaign progress, ink balance, daily streak, botanical stamps and settings are saved on your device only, in the app's private storage. They are encrypted with a key generated on your device that never leaves it. We cannot read this data, and it is not uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
Inkline is free and is paid for by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To show ads, and to measure and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information including your device's advertising identifier, general device information and approximate location derived from an IP address. That processing is Google's, not ours — we never receive it.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form before any personalised ad is requested. You can change that choice at any time from Settings → Ad choices inside the game.
Where ads appear: a full-screen ad after every fourth sheet you finish. There is never an ad while you are solving a sheet.
There are none. Inkline contains no in-app purchases and no payment surface of any kind.
Inkline is designed to be simple and readable enough for young children, and it contains no violence, no chat and no links out of the game other than those in this policy. It is rated for everyone. It is not directed at children under 13 as its target audience, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age — because we do not collect personal information at all.
The app ships with no analytics service enabled. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change reaches an app store, and it would still never include personal data — only anonymous counts such as how many players finish a given puzzle.
Inkline needs no network connection to play. Every puzzle, the daily sheet and your whole collection work in aeroplane mode. The only thing that requires a connection is an advertisement, and those are optional.
Because no personal data is collected or held by us, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf. To remove everything the app has stored, uninstall it. For advertising data, use the Google links above.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
